Welcome to Graveside Stories. The idea came from walking with my 100 year old Auntie through our family cemetery plots and hearing her stories about everyone buried there.

I’d like this to evolve into a family archive sort of like a Family Tree with all kinds of multimedia content. Hopefully, it will provide a unique connection to the history and culture of Charlottesville Virginia based on my family’s story and the stories of all who are buried at Monticello Memory Gardens and beyond.

Some blog posts, collaborations, and photos are also parked here. It’s a place to share memories of loved ones, vertical or otherwise.

Every family has a story to tell and every story is connected.
